Project 366 – 10 June to 16 June

Week 24

A quiet week. Eldest still got A-level exams

Monday Another trip to the toddler session at inflatanation. A few other mums came too which was nice.

Tuesday A week or so ago we attended an event where the girls got to plant some runner beans. They have all grown and as I don’t have space in my garden, I decided to plant them at my parents house. Will see how they do! Then off to the Squirrels session in the evening.

Wednesday Wednesday toddler group. Didn’t do much else.

Thursday We are moving forward with our plans to set up the next section in our scouts group…for the 10-14 year olds, so headed to the venue we would like to use to confirm things. Minu wasn’t happy as she thought we were going to a group….so got her some cake from the cake shop which was close by to make up for it.

Friday Hubby finally went and got some Pakistani mangoes from the shop. Had been craving them since I saw they had arrived in some shops. I feel they are the best mangoes ever.

Saturday There was an Eid event happening in the afternoon, but decided not to go in the end. It is mainly stalls and frankly I don’t have any spare cash to spend on things I don’t actually need. So a quiet weekend at home….I made a milkshake out of some of the mangoes.

Sunday Eid is tomorrow so I did the girls henna with the henna stencils. It came out OK on Bee’s hand but smudged a bit on the eldest’s. Popped to dads with a box of chocolates for Fathers day and also got Bee some snacks as she is off on a school residential tomorrow.
