A few years back I was introduced to Davora Ltd:
Davora Limited is a leading UK based publisher of high quality greeting cards for niche occasions. Our ranges include cards for Eid, Diwali, Jewish Occasions, Chinese New Year, Polish occasions and many more. The company was set up in 2004 by Rajeev Arora and Gordon Davies.
Since then they have introduced more products and more recently they have introduced Eid Money Wallets.
Money is a popular choice as a gift at Eid and I remember as a child just being handed the money. This then moved onto money being put in everyday envelopes. Not very interesting really, although I don’t think any child would say no to money! And in all honesty it can feel like the other person hasn’t made any effort. The money wallets are a fabulous idea of entering into the spirit of Eid and making giving money to others that little bit more special.
The wallets come in 6 different designs. What I like about them is that they are sturdy, being made out of card and feel as though they are good quality. Each wallet has a section at the back to write who the gift is to and who the gift is from.
Davora currenlty has 49 designs of individual cards on their website and 25 designs in their multipacks. I am a fan of their individual cards and like the variety in their designs; from the more traditional designs with pictures of mosques, to the more floral and colourful designs.
The cards come with various, simple messages wishing the recipient a good Eid. They are of good quality and they come individually wrapped.
The wallets are available online at Davora priced at £1.20. They can also be found at your local Asda. The Eid cards are available at most main card shops and are available individually with a RRP of £1.99 or multipacks are available in packs of 6 priced at £2.99 (different designs to the individual cards and the same design in each pack).
Davora have been kind enough to offer one of my readers the following:
- 4 individually packed Eid cards
- 1 Multi pack containing 6 cards
- 6 Eid money wallets
The cards received will the same as in the images above.

That made me laugh! I’ll try to do a worldwide one in advance next Eid
My fave thing about Eid is the excitement you feel. It’s like being a kid all over again! 😀
Mashallah such a lovely idea. My favourite thing about Eid is spending time with the family. Since having my daughter and seeing her joy and excitement at Eid makes it even more special and joyous.
Love the cards – always looking for some and finding none around…I’ll keep the name of the store to wish all my muslmim friends a Happy Eid when time comes.
Thanks for the sharing foz.
xoxo
