We were sent a collection of toys for the purposes of review. However all thoughts and opinions are our own.
We only recently discovered Puppy Dog Pals. If you haven’t heard of them before then Puppy Dog Pals is an animated show following the antics of two pug puppy brothers, Bingo and Rolly.
Bee loves all animals and has even asked for a dog, so when she received some toys from the Puppy Dog Pals Toy Collection from Flair, she was over joyed.
Light Up Pals on a mission Figure and Accessory set – £9.99
You can collect all four of these:
- Hissy With Glider
- Rolly with Scuba
- Bingo with Helicopter
- A.R.F with Glider
These all come with a light up feature and a kid powered spinning simplifier.
We received Helicopter Bingo. The light up feature is his collar which stays lit up for about 10 seconds when the button is pressed.
The other feature is the spinner on the back of Bingo. This is can moved in different directions to make play more fun.
Pet and Talk Plush Pals – £9.99
Press their back to hear them bark and talk. Pressing the back also activates a slight head bobbing movement.
Phrases include:
- ‘Come on! We’ve got a mission.’
- ‘You’re my best friend.’
- ‘Puppy power.’
Surprise Action Figures – £14.99
Press the button on the back to hear them say some phrases (over 10 sounds and phrases from the show) and to see them walk!
Bingo’s phrases include:
- ‘It’s mission time.’
- ‘Stop in the name of the paw.’
- ‘Race you to the backyard.’
- ‘Bow to the wow.’
What did we think?
All the toys come with batteries so play can start immediately. There is nothing more annoying then having to buy additional batteries before play can commence! Bee has enjoyed playing with them all, but her favourite has to be the action figure because the Bingo Action Figure actually walks and has a number of fun phrases. Even the cat was slightly curious about the walking Bingo! The Plush Bingo has joined the collection of teddies on her bed and the light up one is also joining in on the fun with the Action Figure Bingo. All the toys are great for some imaginative play.
If your little ones are fans of the show then they are sure to love the Puppy Dog Pals Toy Collection. They are available to purchase from all good toy stores (including Smyths and The Toy Shop) and Amazon.

I really like pet toys because they are a great way to keep the desire in your kid to own one, to be satisfied at least partially, while not dealing with several headaches that come with a real pet. I have heard about puppy pals before but never read a proper review. Thanks for sharing!

When I was a little girl, I used to love taking care of “puppies’ and “kittens”and even the Tamagotchi! I loved playing a little mommy, but I wasn’t quite ready to be responsible for a living thing! I think this is a great toy for practice! I hope your little ones enjoyed!
These are so cute! I love that they bark, move, and light up- so cool!
These are so cute and wonderful substitution for the dog that we never plan on getting lol.
These look so cute, and like so much fun! My older kid loves dogs, and I am petrified! Maybe this would be a good substitute! Lol!
This looks cool! Bark and talk with headbobbing sounds fun Thanks for sharing your review!
Oh my gosh I can relate with the batteries! They will keep on playing with it and batteries go out so fast. And what’s more? You’ll be needing 2 or 3 of them. Cool toys! Our son loves dog and he will surely like toys like these. Awesome features too.
Oh my god, I hate such toys. I hate the toys which make noise. My little brother had such toy and I used to remove the batteries and hide them…
Looks like a great toy! Thank you for your review!
